Between 1.5" and 1.75" for a coin that’s actually going to be tossed. That range fits a referee’s hand, flips cleanly, and still leaves room for a club crest or association mark on both faces. Stay near the usual 4 mm thickness too — a 6 mm coin lands heavy and short rather than tumbling.
