What is the average weight of your standard size custom challenge coin
Our standard coin sizes are 1.50”, 1.75” and 2.00”. We measure weight in ounces, and the figures below can be used as a general rule of thumb for knowing how heavy your coins will be.
1.50” coin | 1 oz. |
---|---|
1.75” coin | 1.4 oz. |
2.00” coin | Between 1.5 and 1.6 oz. |
Coins with cut out designs will be much lighter than the standard weights listed above. If you want your coins to have more weight, choosing a design that is 4mm thick, as opposed to the standard 3mm, will increase the weight of each coin by 33%.
