What goes on an American Legion post coin?

The emblem goes on the front of the coin. On the back, posts typically put the name and number of the post, a local landmark, a fallen member’s name, an anniversary date, or a fundraising line. You can use one of those or combine a few. Around either face, rim text can run along the edge. Enamel fills are optional in the recessed areas. Lettering should stay large enough to read on the finished coin.
